Unfiltered: Be yourself unapologetically

Hey Warriors,

Take me or leave me, but don’t ask me to shrink.

I’m not everyone’s cup of tea, and I’m done trying to be.

I’ve spent enough of my life trimming myself down, softening my voice, dimming my light so other people wouldn’t feel uncomfortable around my fire.

I’ve smiled through pain.

Swallowed opinions to keep the peace.

Played small in rooms where I should’ve stood tall.

And for what?

To be more “digestible”?

To be less “intense”?

To avoid making people uncomfortable with my truth, my power, or my presence?

No more.

This version of me?

She’s unfiltered.

She’s real.

She’s been through hell and didn’t just survive, she alchemized that pain into purpose.

I’m not here to make myself fit into molds I was never designed for.

I’m here to take up space, as a woman, as a mother, as a miracle, as a whole human being.

Yes, I’m stubborn sometimes.

Yes, I’m sensitive.

Yes, I have boundaries now.

Yes, I’m layered and bold and probably a bit too “much” for some people.

But I’m not shrinking.

I’m not silencing.

And I’m definitely not apologizing for existing fully.

I’ve earned the right to be who I am, every complex, unfiltered part of me.

I’m not perfect, but I’m real.

I’m not polished, but I’m powerful.

I’m not everyone’s favorite, but I’m mine.

And that’s enough.

So if you’re out there trying to navigate your journey while feeling like you need to water yourself down just to belong, don’t.

Be too bold.

Be too soft.

Be too honest.

Be too real.

Because the people who are meant to ride with you?

They’ll never ask you to be less.

They’ll say, “More, please.”

More truth.

More light.

More you.

So here I am, unfiltered.

Not asking for permission.

Not waiting for applause.

Just living, loving, and showing up in all my wild, sacred, unapologetic glory.

And I hope you do the same.

“I’m not perfect, but I’m real. I’m not polished, but I’m powerful. I’m not everyone’s favorite, but I’m mine. And that’s enough.”

With Heart,

💙 Phoenix

Is It Me or Is It ME?

Hey Warriors, This one is for me. And maybe it is for you too. There is a very uncomfortable question I have been sitting with lately. Am I honoring my condition. Or am I hiding behind it. Living with
