Weight of the World

Hey Warriors,

You ever get tired of being the one holding it all together? Sometimes it feels like my body is already a full-time job, every beat, every hum of my LVAD, every adjustment just to move through the day. Yet somehow, I’ve also taken on the weight of the world.

And the truth? I let it happen. I’m the one who says “yes” when I should say “no.” I’m the one who stretches myself thin to be strong for everyone else. But lately, I’ve realized, strength isn’t about carrying everything. It’s about knowing when to set it down.

I’ve been learning that boundaries are not walls, they’re guardrails. They keep me safe on the path I want to walk. And if I want to keep walking toward my own goals, toward the things that fill me with life and purpose, then I have to be more consistent about putting myself first.

Because the truth is, my body is already working overtime. And my heart deserves a little less “weight of the world” and a little more peace.

So here’s to releasing what isn’t mine to hold. Here’s to focusing on what I want to achieve for myself. And here’s to reminding myself — and maybe reminding you too — that letting go is its own kind of strength.

“Letting go is its own kind of strength.”

With Heart,

💙 Phoenix
